a. Discussion and possible approval of bids for 2023 Sidewalk Program award to Advantage Paving Solutions of Frankfort at a price of $114,800. (Tabled at the 2/5/24 meeting)

b. Discussion and possible approval to enter into a professional services agreement with EEI for engineering for the Downtown Street Lighting project at an amount not to exceed $ 30,000 (Tabled at the 2/5/24 meeting)

New Business:

a. Approval of final payout to Era Valdiva Contractors Inc for the rehabilitation and repainting work completed on the Green Street water town in the amount of $113,053.86 (this amount is included in invoices in item b.)

b. Approval of February, 2024 Invoices totaling $245,495.67

c. Discussion and possible approval of Resolution 24-03 “A Resolution to Repeal Resolution 23-12 of the City of Sandwich, DeKalb and Kendall Counties, Illinois.”

d. Discussion and possible approval of Resolution 24-04 “A Resolution Providing for the Submission to the Electors of the City of Sandwich, DeKalb and Kendall Counties, Illinois, a Referendum of Whether the City Should Abolish the Elected Office of City Treasurer and the Duties of the City Treasurer be Assigned to Another City Position”

e. Discussion and possible approval of Ordinance 2024-01 “An Ordinance Amending Chapter 82, “Traffic and Vehicles”, Article V, “Vehicle Equipment and Condition”, to Add a New Division 3, “Overweight and Over-Dimension Permits” to the City of Sandwich Municipal Code”

f. Ordinance 2024-02 “An Ordinance Amending Chapter 82, “Traffic Vehicles”, Article II, “Operating of Vehicles”, Division 1, “Generally” of the City of Sandwich Municipal Code.

g. Discussion and possible approval of proposed economic development initiatives in the amount of $31,660 dollars as proposed to the DeKalb County Community Foundation for funding consideration

h. Discussion and possible approval of bids for 2023 Sidewalk Program to be awarded to Crack Attack Concrete of Sandwich at a price of 119,800.

i. Discussion and possible action to adopt Resolution 24-02 “A Resolution Designating W. Center Street with the Honorary Name of “Augustus Adams Place – Sandwich Manufacturing Company”.
