A. CALL TO ORDER:

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Davidson at 4:00 p.m.

B. ROLL CALL:

Present 5 – Shafeek Abubaker, Ronald Davidson, Chad Earl, Mike King, and Deana Losurdo

C. PUBLIC FORUM:

Students from Neuqua Valley High School attended

D. REPORTS:

1. Police Department Report

Recruitment – Recruitment Fair at WIU

Testing – Continuing getting ready for Sergeant Promotional Testing

Promotional –

Special Events – CAPS event coming up on 5/15

Operational Update – Taking more guns off the street at TopGolf

2. Fire Department Report

Recruitment – Looking at updating Recruitment video

Testing – Planning for another new hire test in the fall of 2025

Promotional –

Special Events –

Operational Update – New recruits were sworn in on 4/14; doing well so far
