B. Discussion and possible action to approve Ordinance 2026-01 “AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A ZONING MAP AMENDMENT FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2300 E. CHURCH STREET (8.72 ACRES) FROM B3 TO R5 FOR A 55+ RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT” as recommended by the Plan Commission at its January 13, 2026, meeting.
C. Discussion and possible action to approve Ordinance 2026-02 “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 98-31 AND 98-32 OF THE SANDWICH MUNICIPAL CODE (ZONING ORDINANCE) RELATED TO AGRICULTURAL LAND AND FARM RESIDENCE STANDARDS” specifically to remove the requirement that all annexed land used for agricultural purposes must be classified as AG Agricultural District, and to allow such land to be classified as either AG Agricultural District or R-1 One-Family Residence District at the time of annexation; and to remove the minimum 40- acre requirement for farm residences and to update related provisions for consistency as recommended by the Plan Commission at its January 13, 2026, meeting.
D. Discussion and possible action to approve Ordinance 2026-03 “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 98-145 OF THE SANDWICH MUNICIPAL CODE (ZONING ORDINANCE) REGARDING AIRPORT AREA DEVELOPMENT AND RUNWAY PROTECTION ZONE STANDARDS” as recommended by the Plan Commission at its meeting January 13, 2026.
E. Discussion and Possible Approval of Resolution 25-02 “A RESOLUTION APPOINTING LAW FIRM TO SERVE AS CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY OF SANDWICH, ILLINOIS”
