City of Sandwich Finance Committee met Oct. 20.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Alderwoman Erickson called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

Roll Call: Present Alderman Danko, Alderman Kreinbrink, Alderwoman Inman and Alderman Robinson. EMA Director Tony Eberle is also present.

Review of Semi-Monthly Bills:

Question about C Johnson Trenching – this is for the Main Street project.

Question about Attorney Bills – there are recurring locations for line items, are we recovering those during adjudication? Do they need to review the agendas and minutes? Are they reviewing all the FOIAS? Should we have some of these fees come out of the budget for the departments that are using them in the future.

Invoice for Clark Baird and Smith is there an invoice for it? There is an invoice but does not tell us what the services are for, can we please find out what it is for.

Agrigate Hauling – Could we use our own trucks for some of this – this bill is from May to October; can we find a way to improve our process and get our own items instead of having them delivered when possible?

Class for Geoff Penman – was this done before new contract signed? Was done in April so before new contract – will discuss during council meeting.

Lunch reimbursement for Officer Rominiksi is over and needs to be adjusted it is over by $8.26.

Are the water meters the new ones and work with the new equipment. Yes they are

What is the Vissering Bill for? It is for the Sewer Treatment Plant expansion.

Ipass Bill – Late fees, can we call to get those reduced? It will now be put on auto renewal.

United Truck Rental – was it for a bigger truck, did they need to rent it. There truck was being fixed and it was rented to use and trim some trees.

New Business:

Approval of Minutes from October 6, 2025. Motion made by Alderwoman Inman and seconded by Alderman Danko. Passed by unanimous voice vote.

Audience Comments: None

Authorization to send bills to City Council in the amount of $541,125.99: Motion made by Alderman Kreinbrink and seconded by Alderwoman Inman. Motion passes by unanimous voice vote.

No further business, motion made to adjourn by Alderman Kreinbrink and seconded by Alderman Danko at 6:55 p.m. Motion passes by unanimous voice vote.
