a. Resolution R2026-008— A Resolution Awarding the purchase of one (1) new 2027 Kenworth T480 Tandem Axle Cab & Chassis Truck with warranty options in the amount of $147,205.56 to CIT Trucks LLC, of Loves Park, Illinois.
For the bid opening on December 30, 2025, Resolution #R2026-008 awards the low bid meeting specification with warranty options out of two bidders in the amount of $147,205.56 to CIT Trucks LLC, of Loves Park, Illinois.
b. Resolution R2026-009 – A Resolution Entering into a Joint Funding Agreement for State Construction work through the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), State of Illinois for Section 22-00281-00-WR Plank Road, Lindgren Road Intersection Roundabout.
This Resolution is to necessitate an agreement with the State of Illinois for the use of federal HSIP, STU 50-<200K Funds for construction and construction engineering for certain improvements to Plank Road at the Lindgren Road Intersection. This project is for reconstructing the existing intersection as a roundabout with an estimated construction and construction engineering to cost $3,376,750.00, with the local share estimated at $387,450.00.
c. Resolution R2026-010 – A Resolution entering Amendment #1 to the original Joint Federal Funding Construction Agreement; modifies the Division of Cost with the addition of TARP Funding for Section 21-00187-02-RS Barber Greene Road.
This Resolution is for the modification of original Joint Federal Funding Construction Agreement: Resolution R2025-057 passed May 21, 2025. The revision adds $100,800.00 Truck Access Route Program (TARP) funding awarded in the Division of Cost since approving the original agreement, thereby decreasing $100,800.00 of the local participating construction funding amount.
