In total, residents paid $478,688 in sales taxes during October 2025.

The county ranked 53rd in the Prairie State the month before, with $427,843 spent in sales taxes.

The largest share of sales taxes paid by DeKalb County residents in October 2025 came from the Countywide Sales Tax.

The Countywide Sales Tax, a crucial revenue stream, is primarily allocated for county governments’ use.
