FOIA Request to Sycamore City Council Regarding Detailed Information on Council Members on October 15, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at DeKalb Times have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Sycamore City Council in Illinois.

The request was made under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, and seeks detailed information about all council members. The requested details include each member’s name, title, year appointed, term length (2 or 4 years), and term expiry date. We have asked for this information preferably in an electronic format for ease of access and analysis.
