Former Eastland High School standout Adam Awender and the Aurora Spartans were defeated 84-60 by the CMS Stags on Friday, March 6, during the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The matchup, held at Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse at 2:20 p.m., marked the team’s first tournament game against the CMS Stags.
