This week’s Summer Intern Spotlight is Kyle Okubo. Kyle is a native of Hampshire and attends Northern Illinois University, where he studies Political Science.
During the internship, Kyle hopes to gain a better understanding of the day-to-day operations of state government. Specifically, how information is collected to address constituent needs, research is done for crafting new laws and their effects, and how different levels of government are interconnected in our communities.
