DeKalb home prices fall in December 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in DeKalb fell by $12,000 while total sales increased by 71%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $131,000 - a 8.4% decrease over the $143,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in DeKalb in December 2018.

The median sales tax in DeKalb for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,726, approximately 3.6% of the median home sale price for December 2019.
