5. Transit 5-Year Capital Plan
Staff will provide additional information on the DeKalb region 5-year transit capital plan.
6. Transit Asset Management (TAM) Plan
The development Transit Asset Management Plan (TAM) is a required federal performance measure. As the City is the designated transit provider for the DSATS region, the transportation staff has opted to be a member of the Statewide TAM plan. Staff has been working closely with IDOT and other transit providers in Illinois. As part of the process staff has had to provide the state with information about all transit assets owned by the City of DeKalb and develop a replacement plan for all those assets. The City’s information, along with the information provided by the majority of transit agencies across the state have been integrated into one master state plan. Staff will provide members with additional information on this plan beyond what was presented last month.
