State Rep. Tom Demmer (R-Dixon) announced that final preparations are being made for a joint town hall meeting he will host with State Sen. Dave Syverson (R-Rockford) and State Rep. Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) in DeKalb on Tuesday, April 23.
The event will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. at the DeKalb County Community Outreach Building at 2500 N. Annie Glidden Road.
According to Demmer’s office, the meeting will focus on the state budget and the graduated income tax proposal. Eric Olson, general manager of the Daily Chronicle, will moderate a question-and-answer period following the presentation.
Attendees can submit questions on notecards that will be circulated throughout the presentation and discussion, said Demmer.
