Good recap. I enjoyed participating in this public forum for NIU students on civic engagement. If my involvement in forums like this are a source of encouragement to even one student, then it’s well worth it. In fact, every time I have the privilege of interacting with our students, I feel that I receive so much more inspiration from them than anything I can offer in return.
We are fortunate to have a world-class institution with amazing people like NIU right here in our community.
