Dekalb County Board of Review met Jan. 21.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
I. Call to order: Meeting called to order at 9:00 am.
II. Roll call: All present. John Guio was in GH Hill Room for double hearing , however came to meeting at 12:20 pm to fi nish as Dan Gribben had to leave at this time.
Ill. Approval of minutes from last meeting: Bob made a motion to approve Jan 16, 2020 meeting minutes. Dan seconds the motion. All in favor, motion passed.
IV. Public Comments: None
V. Hearings
a. Board of Review - Board reviewed, heard and made a decision on 8 appeals of which 6 phoned in and 2 were waives. See attached list.
VI. Work Load:
a. Review to Approve / Deny Disabled Person Exemptions: None
b. Review to Approve / Deny Disabled Veteran Exemptions: None
c. Review to Approve / Deny Senior Exemptions: None
d. Review to for Recommendation for Non-Homestead Exemptions: None
e. Review of and Prepare for PTAB Appeals: None.
VII. Other Business: Board reviewed and approved 2 Mapping Changes.
VIII. Adjournment: John moved to adjourn; Bob seconded. All in favor, so moved. Meeting adjourned at 1 :03 pm.
