City of Sandwich Finance Committee met May 4.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
Chairwoman Killey called the meeting to order at 7:47 PM via WebEx teleconference call due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Roll call was taken:
Present: Aldermen Dell, Killey & Kreinbrink
Also Present: Any public member that was logged into the teleconference call; Mayor Robinson, City Clerk Ii & Aldermen Redden were present in open meeting
Review of Semi-Monthly Bills: Bills were reviewed to be submitted for payment approval at the Regular Meeting of May 11th, 2020. The invoice to Cam-Vac in the amount of $2,100.00 was questioned and discussed briefly. The invoice included vacuuming and televising sewer lines in specific areas due to grease issues
New Business: Since the fiscal year ended April 30, 2020, Alderman Kreinbrink questioned how bills were to paid that were dated and presented prior to April 30, 2020. Clerk Ii will contact Wes Levy (Lauterbach & Amen).
Audience Comments: Alderwoman Chmielewski, via WebEx, inquired about billing and payment for the SRO (School Resource Officer). Schools have been out of session since mid-March due to COVID-19. The inquiry will be passed along to Chief Bianchi for a response.
Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Committee, motion made by Alderwoman Killey and seconded by Alderman Kreinbrink to adjourn at 7:55 PM. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
