DeKalb County will have something to smile about when Ben Niemann takes the field against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Jan. 24.
Niemann played prep football as a wide receiver and safety at Sycamore High School where he was named first state in his junior and senior years.
He went on to play college football at the University of Iowa. Over four years at Iowa he had 201 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.
Niemann joined the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2018.
In his three seasons with the Chiefs Niemann has 107 tackles and one sack.
Niemann and the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 5:40 p.m.
