Construction to replace water mains on portions of 13th Street and 14th Street and the subsequent street resurfacing is scheduled to start next week.
Materials for the water main replacement on both roads between Route 23 and Clark Street have arrived, and work is expected to begin Monday. After the utility work is complete, the roads will be fully resurfaced.
The water project is expected to be completed within 12 weeks, and the street work may continue for at least a month after. 13th Street will be prioritized due to school traffic considerations in August, with 14th Street advancing at a lower priority, but with Fall 2022 completion assured.
