City of Sandwich Finance Committee met Oct. 3.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Chairwoman Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.
Roll call was taken:
Present: Alderwoman Rebecca Johnson, Alderwoman Cara Killey & Alderman Kreinbrink
Also present: Doug Greif
Review of Semi-Monthly Bills: Question on Asphalt bill in regard to truck cleaning / painting. Would like quotes. Question on start time / date of sidewalk around Woodbury School.
Old Business: Finance committee minutes from June 6th & 20th 2022. Minutes were reviewed and submitted for approval. Motion made by Alderwoman Killey – Seconded by Alderman Kreinbrink. Motion passed unanimously with voice vote.
New Business: Motion to approve Finance committee minutes from September 6th & 19th 2022 . Motion made by Alderwoman Killey – Seconded by Alderman Kreinbrink. Motion passed unanimously with voice vote.
Audience Comments: Mr. Greif would like the council to consider having our salt truck cleaned before putting it away for the season, instead of one month before it will be used again. Invoice from Foster / Buick in regards to the corner of Sandwich / Green streets. Inquiry about bill from Midwest Meter. Inquiry about PM Otto and the installation of concrete and Platinum asphalt invoice.
Finance Meeting Motion to send monthly bills to the city council for payment: Motion made by Alderman Kreinbrink and seconded by Alderwoman Killey. Motion passed.
Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Committee, motion made by Alderwoman Killey, and seconded by Alderman Kreinbrink to adjourn at 6:46 PM. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
