DeKalb County Board of Review met Oct, 12.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Those in attendance: Dan Cribben, John Linderoth, and Brian Rosenow; Members; Bridget Nodurft, Clerk; Alana Rautio; Administrative Assistant.

I. Call to order: Dan called meeting to order at 9:00 am

II. Roll call: Dan asked that the minutes reflect that Brian, John, Dan, Bridget, and Alana are all in attendance.

Ill. Review Agenda for Approval / Amendment: John moved to approve agenda as written. Brian seconded motion. All in favor, so moved.

IV. Approval of minutes from last meeting: John moved to approve September 14th, 2022 meeting minutes. Brian seconded motion. All in favor, so moved.

V. Public Comments: None

VI. Work Load

a. Review to Approve / Deny Disabled Person Exemptions: After Board review, Brian moved to approve 1 New and 7 renewals for HEPD. John seconded motion. All in favor, so moved. See attached list.

b. Review to Approve / Deny Disabled Veteran Exemptions: After Board review, Brian moved to approve 3 New and 8 renewals for SHEVD. John seconded motion. All in favor, so moved. See attached list.

c. Review to Approve / Deny Senior Exemptions: After Board review, Brian moved to approve 14 New HE applications. John seconded motion. All in favor, so moved. See attached list.

d. Review to Approve/Deny Certificate of Errors: After Board review, John moved to approve CofE's numbered 811-978, totaling 168 all for 2021. Brian seconded motion. All in favor, so moved.

e. Review for Recommendation to IDOR for Non-Homestead Exemptions: None

f. Review, Prepare and Make a Recommendation for PTAB Appeals: None

g. Review to Approve/ Deny PTAX 300-HA for Kishwaukee Hospital and Valley West Hospital: After Board review, Brian moved to approve both applications. John seconded motion. All in favor, so moved.

h. Review to Approve/ Deny Mapping Changes: After Board review, John moved to approve 23 mapping changes. Brian seconded. All in favor. So moved.

VII. Other Business: Board will meet on October 18th for addition of approval/denial of Assessor changes. VIII. Adjournment: John moved to adjourn meeting, Brian 2nds, All in favor. Meeting adjourned at 10:39 am.
