DeKalb County Veterans Assistance Commission met May 13.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

Meeting started at 6:00pm with President Celeste Latham presiding.

Board Members Present: President Celeste Latham, Vice-President James Cox, Treasurer Bob Coulter, Director Bob Bend, and acting Secretary Tammy Anderson.

Delegate/Alternate: Gerry Drake (D), Donald Brown (D), Frank Beierlotzer (A), Joseph Hodder (D), Charlotte Hodder (A), Dick Hilderbrant (D), William Lambert (A).

Public Comment: NI A

Meeting Minutes: April 8th 2024 minutes were reviewed. No changes were discussed - Minutes passed.

Treasurer's Report: The beginning balance of April was $5,113.30. Per the previous meetings approval, The ending balance for April is $5,838.30. Motion was made by Frank Beierlotzer to accept the Treasurer's report as presented, seconded by Gerry Drake subject to audit - Vote called - Motion passed.

Superintendent's Report:

A motion was made by Bill Lambert to approve April's monthly expenses as presented, seconded by Joe Hodder - Roll Call Vote - Motion Passed.

Committee Reports: Frank Beierlotzer provided a flyer 

Unfinished Business: N/ A

New Business: Increase Driver's per-diem -discussion was made, Frank Beierlotzer made a motion to increase the per diem to $30, the motion was seconded by Gerry Drake. Vote called - motion passed.

For the Good of the Commission: N/ A

Adjournment: Being no further business, a motion was made by Gerry Drake to adjourn, seconded by Frank Beierlotzer - Vote called-Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 6:25 pm.
