Appointments are still open for the Mobile DMV event scheduled to take place in Huntley on January 7, 2025. This event is being organized by State Representative Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore), State Senator Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley), and State Representative Joe Sosnowski (R-Rockford) in collaboration with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office.

The Mobile DMV will be stationed at the Huntley Village Hall, located at 10987 Main St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The initiative aims to provide local residents an opportunity to complete essential driver services without visiting a regular DMV facility. However, due to limited capacity, individuals must register beforehand for all services offered.

Services available during this event include obtaining a REAL ID, renewing or correcting a driver's license, acquiring or updating state identification cards, purchasing vehicle stickers for license plates, and registering as an organ or tissue donor. It is important to note that driver's tests will not be conducted at this event. For information on identification requirements, attendees can visit WWW.ILSOS.GOV.

Payments can be made using checks, credit cards, debit cards, or money orders; cash payments will not be accepted.

Those interested in attending can register online by visiting https://repkeicher.com/mobile-dmv/. For further details about the event, contact Rachel at Representative Keicher’s office by calling 815-748-3494 or emailing keicherstaffrh@ilhousegop.org.
