State Representatives Jeff Keicher and Dan Ugaste are organizing a blood drive in Geneva on January 31. The event, held in collaboration with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois, will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Persinger Recreation Center located at 3507 Kaneville Road.
Appointments for the blood drive are preferred, though walk-ins will be accommodated. Interested individuals can schedule an appointment by calling 800-786-4483 or emailing Jesse at keicher@ilhousegop.org. Online appointments are also available on a first come, first served basis.
Versiti states that each blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives. Donors must present a photo ID and are advised to consume a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating.
