City of Sycamore issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.
8/17/2018 Weekly Construction Update: On Monday August 20th, Northwest Medicine and their construction team will temporarily close the NW Loop Road entrance at Bethany Road. This closure is related to the construction work on Bethany Road. All other access points (Health Services Drive, Il Route 23 Main Entrance and IL Route 23 Southern Entrance) will remain open. Airport Road is currently closed to through traffic. All park facilities on Airport Road are accessible from the South. As soon as the roadway is passable, it will be reopened. Other scheduled work includes the following:
Concrete curbs on Washington Place
Paving on Maertz Drive
Continued work on Airport Road
The tentative schedule outlined above may change from time to time depending on weather conditions, availability of labor, materials and equipment, etc. Please contact the City at 815-895-4557 if you require special accommodations.
