Dekalb Community Unit School District 428 issued the following announcement on Sept. 20.
DeKalb Community Unit School District #428 is purchasing new textbooks for high school Economic Education. After extensive review, the selection committee has chosen Campbell, S.R., Dansby, R.L. Foundations of Financial Literacy, 10th Edition 2018 published by Goodheart-Wilcox.
Interested parents and citizens of DeKalb, Cortland and Malta are invited to look at the recommended textbook and offer written commentary on it for the School Board. Forms will be available for community feedback. The books will be displayed in the District Education Center located at 901 S. 4th St. in DeKalb. They may be viewed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday until Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
