Bagby, Luebke among winners in Dekalb County Board races

The results of the Dekalb County Board races have been released.

Republican Lawrence “Larry” M West has been declared the winner in the County Board Member District 1 race against Democrat Fred Hall. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, West had 66.77 percent of the vote with a total of 2,194 votes. Hall received 33.23 percent of the vote with a total of 1,092 votes.

Republican Timothy P Hughes has been declared the winner in the County Board Member District 2, unexpired two-year term, race against Democrat John “JJ” West. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Hughes had 55.95 percent of the vote with a total of 1,792 votes. West received 44.05 percent of the vote with a total of 1,411 votes.

Republican Timothy B. Bagby has been declared the winner in the County Board Member District 3 race against Democrat Nate Johnson. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Bagby had 54.15 percent of the vote with a total of 1,858 votes. Johnson received 45.85 percent of the vote with a total of 1,573 votes.

Republican Dianne E Leifheit has been declared the winner in the County Board Member District 8 race against Democrat David J. Rathke. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Leifheit had 54.97 percent of the vote with a total of 2,006 votes. Rathke received 45.03 percent of the vote with a total of 1,643 votes.

Democrat Jim Luebke has been declared the winner in the County Board Member District 9 race against Republican Lawrence P. Nepodahl. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Luebke had 68.98 percent of the vote with a total of 1,730 votes. Nepodahl received 31.02 percent of the vote with a total of 778 votes.

Democrat Suzanne Willis has been declared the winner in the County Board Member District 10 race against Republican Mark D. Wirsing. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Willis had 59.2 percent of the vote with a total of 1,879 votes. Wirsing received 40.8 percent of the vote with a total of 1,295 votes.

Republican Daniel G. Cribben has been declared the winner in the County Board Member District 11 race against Democrat Courtney “Court” Schuett. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Cribben had 61.77 percent of the vote with a total of 2,204 votes. Schuett received 38.23 percent of the vote with a total of 1,364 votes.
