Wagner Excavating issued the following announcement on Jan. 19.
The position involves surveying of residential and commercial earthwork and utility projects. Individuals shall be organized and able to work in a construction environment, both inside and outside of the office. Qualified applicants will understand the fundamentals of design and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct property, topographic, and asbuilt surveys using Leica total station and GPS equipment
• Construction earthwork, utility, and building staking
• Localizing sites for GPS control and base station set up
• Work with field personnel to download and monitor GPS models for equipment machine controls
• Generate site aerials and video flyovers with drone equipment
Qualifications
• Ideal candidate shall have or will be working toward a two-year associates degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering Technology or a four-year degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
