Report: Indian Creek spent $13,180 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Indian Creek School District 425 is up 19.8 percent from five years ago, according to a DeKalb Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dekalb County school district spent $11,001 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,180 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 763 to 696.

Indian Creek's spending in 2017-18 was 1.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
