Jefferson Elementary School recently issued the following announcement.
Mark your calendars! Kindergarten registration will be held at all elementary schools from 4:30-7:00pm on Thursday, April 11 and Wednesday, April 17.
Students must be five years old on or before September 1, 2019 in order to be eligible for kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year.
Registration packets will be available on the district website after March 22nd. A completed registration packet will be needed at the registration event. The following items are also needed:
* Parent/Guardian photo id
* Child's certified birth certificate (issued by the county, not the hospital copy)
* Proof of residency (there will be a form in the packet explaining what will serve as this proof)
* Proof of recent housing payment
* Physical/immunization form (if completed)
Please bring your new kindergarten student with you to meet teachers and visit classrooms!
