The data shows that all of the released offenders in Sandwich were men. The median age of the parolees was 31. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 54-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Rodrigo Enriquez. He was convicted of homicide in 2003 when he was 31 years old. He is now 47.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
