2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60112?

There was one offender released on parole during 2018 that lives in Cortland zip code 60112, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DeKalb Times.

The data shows that the released offender was Mario Mejia. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2018, when he was 43. He is now 44.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
