Open Door Rehabilitation Center issued the following announcement on July 20.
The TRAVELING GAVEL was passed at the KIWANIS INTER-CLUB MEETING.
Aktion Club of Open Door received the gavel from the Kishwaukee Kiwanis. Aktion Club co-Presidents, Rachel N. & David S. presided over the meeting and a pot luck meal was shared. Tri-County Kiwanis accepted a $600 check from Aktion Club that will be donated to Go Baby, Go. This project retrofits battery operated cars for toddlers who were born with spina bifida.
