Shabbona-Lee-Rollo Historical Museum issued the following announcement on July 24.
Whenever you may be at a loss for a gift, consider something representing our communities. Books about Chief Shabbona, rural schools, atlases of DeKalb Co. , Village of Shabbona and Shabbona Grove; glass and pewter ornaments depicting local schools and churches; notecards, cookbooks, and videos are available in our gift center.
If you are interested in researching your family history, try out our website which lists the databases that we have and will give you a head start in finding information. (www.slrmuseum.com) We have numerous binders of information on the individual schools, communities, celebrations and more. The staff will be happy to help you.
