THE CITY OF DEKALB issued the following announcement on Aug. 4.
This week, the City's forestry contractor will continue parkway tree trimming. Beginning Monday, work will move to the area roughly bounded by Taylor St, 4th St, Barb Blvd, and 1st St. The City's goal is to trim all parkway trees on a 5 to 10 year cycle, which will ensure proper overhead clearance while improving the health and aesthetic value of the City's urban forest.
