Hiawatha Community Unit School District 426 issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.
Kindness week was a huge success! Students were able to spread kindness by decorating the front/back of the school with Mrs. Damiani, creating feathers that helped create our huge Kindness Wings, writing kindness letters to our school staff, and bringing their families to participate in our Kindness In Chalk event where they decorated the blacktop!
It has been a fun week and we have loved seeing/reading what all our students have created!
