Dekalb County Board of Review met Feb. 5.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
I. Call to order: Meeting called to order at 9:01 am.
II. Roll call: All present.
Ill. Approval of minutes from last meeting: Bob made a motion to approve Feb 4, 2020 minutes, Dan seconded.
All in favor, motion passes.
IV. Public Comments: None
V. Hearings
a. Board of Review - Board reviewed and heard 15 appeals making a decision on 14 and postponing 1 hearing for possible stipulation. Board broke for lunch at 12: 19 pm and resumed hearings at 1 :00 pm.
VI. Work Load:
a. Review to Approve/ Deny Disabled Person Exemptions: None
b. Review to Approve/ Deny Disabled Veteran Exemptions: Board reviewed and approved 2 disabled veteran exemptions.
c. Review to Approve / Deny Senior Exemptions: Board reviewed and approved 7 senior exemptions.
d. Review to for Recommendation for Non-Homestead Exemptions: Board reviewed and tabled 1 non-homestead exemption for clarification of acreage.
e. Review of and Prepare for PTAB Appeals: None
