Dekalb County Board of Review met March 11.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Those in attendance: John Guio, Bob Merriman and Dan Gribben, Members; Michelle Christensen, Interim Clerk.

I. Call to order: Meeting called to order at 9:00 am. II. Roll call: All present.

Ill. Approval of minutes from last meeting: Bob made a motion to approve Feb 20, 2020 minutes, Dan seconded. All in favor, motion passes.

IV. Public Comments: None V. Work Load:

a. Review to Approve/ Deny Disabled Person Exemptions (HEPD): Board reviewed and approved 4 new HEPD applications and 68 renewal HEPD applications. See attached list.

b. Review to Approve / Deny Disabled Veteran Exemptions (SHEDV): Board reviewed and approved 7 new SH EDV applications and 100 renewal SH EDV applications. See attached list.

c. Review to Approve / Deny Senior Exemptions (HE): Board reviewed and approved 76 new HE applications. See attached list.

d. Review to for Recommendation for Non-Homestead Exemptions: Board reviewed and made a recommendation to IDOR for 12 Non-Homestead Exemption applications. See attached list.

e. Review of, Prepare and Make a Recommendation for PTAB Appeals: Board reviewed evidence received from PTAB for 2018 MCA Joint Venture Trust. Board reviewed two PTAB Stipulations for 2017 and 2018 Sycamore Walgreens, with a 2 - 1 vote approving each. Board reviewed three 2017 PTAB files, 2 for Hong Yu and 1 for Playbird LLC, of which, John made a motion to accept appellants request for each. Bob seconded the motion. All in favor , motion passed. Board reviewed and prepared statement for evidence to provide to PTAB for 2018 Spirit Master Funding Ill LLC appeal.

VI. Other Business: Board discussed dates available to meet for a Policy and Procedure Meeting with the CCAO, Chief Deputy and alternate board members. Michelle will coordinate schedules for meeting date.

VII. Adjournment: Bob moved to adjourn; Dan seconded. All in favor, so moved. Meeting adjourned at 11:38 am.
