Sandwich (DeKalb County) home prices rise in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Sandwich in DeKalb County rose by $12,750 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 45 homes sold, with a median sale price of $145,000 - a 9.6% increase over the $132,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in Sandwich in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Sandwich for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,437, approximately 3.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
