DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board Funds Review Ad Hoc Committee met June 23.

Committee Members Present: Laurie Emmer, Jennie Geltz, Robert Cook, Jerry Helland

Other Persons Present:

Office staff: Deanna Cada, Kathy Ostdick

1. Call to Order

Ms. Emmer called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.

2. Agenda Approval

Ms. Geltz moved to approve the agenda; seconded by Mr. Cook. The motion passed unanimously on a voice vote.

3. Old Business

A. 12 Health Services Drive status update

Ms. Cada told the Committee that the DeKalb County Board signed a Quit Claim Deed for 12 Health Services Drive from DeKalb County to the Mental Health Board. Regarding the sale of the building, the information for the sale is out for bid and all bids are due back in the Mental Health Board Office by 8/4/20 and will be reviewed at the Finance Committee meeting on that same date.

B. Fund plan development – Brainstorm fund plan options

Ms. Cada presented a list of options discussed during the 6/9/20 meeting. The Committee discussed each one, eliminated several, and added several. Mr. Helland suggested that the Committee should have time to think of other options and then let Deanna know. During this conversation, the Committee discussed how much money they have currently to spend and how much they may have when the building is sold.

C. Status of unallocated funds – chart attached This was discussed in B above.

4. New Business

Minutes from the 6/9/20 meeting were reviewed.

Ms. Geltz moved to approve the minutes of the 6/9/20 meeting; seconded by Mr. Cook. The motion passed unanimously on a voice vote.

5. Date of Next Meeting: 8/11/20 at 4:30 pm 6. Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 5:12 pm
