Kingston home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Kingston rose by $24,500 while total sales increased by 8.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,000 - a 13.2% increase over the $185,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Kingston in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Kingston for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,934, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
