City of Sandwich City Council met Dec. 7.

Call to Order
Roll Call including remote attendees
311 E. Railroad Street Roof Replacement:
a. Bid proposals received:
i. R.B. Crowther Company of Morris, IL: $69,450.00 (Base) + $5,450.00 (Alt #1 north roof) = $74,900.00
ii. Anthony Roofing Tecta America of Aurora, IL: $79,475.00 (Base) + $8,700.00 (add north roof) = $88,175.00
iii. Olsson Roofing Company Inc. of Aurora, IL: $84,000.00 (Base – no north roof) = $84,000.00
b. City Council to consider a waiver of the bid provisions of 65 ILCS 5/1-1-1 et seq. to authorize the contract by a vote of two-thirds of all aldermen then holding office. The potential contract amount exceeds $25,000.00.
c. City Council to consider the approval of the R.B. Crowther Company bid proposal in an amount of $74,900.00. Funds to be allocated from the Capital Improvements Fund Budget, line item 010.0105.90.6800 Capital Improvements.
