Sycamore Fire Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 18.
In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Day, this quote (or similar words) from Dr. King is often echoed at many firefighter recruit firefighter academy graduations and at many Fire Department promotional ceremonies. If we all followed those words, the world would be a much better place.
