December 2020: DeKalb experienced a 14.5% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2020 in DeKalb rose by $19,000 while total sales decreased by 22.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2020, there were 41 homes sold, with a median sale price of $150,000 - a 14.5% increase over the $131,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 53 homes sold in DeKalb in December 2019.

The median sales tax in DeKalb for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,868, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for December 2020.
