City of Sandwich Committee of the Whole Council Met Dec. 7.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:

Call to Order by Mayor Robinson at 7:05pm following Special Meeting

Roll Call including remote attendees: Alderman Dell (WebEx), Alderman Kelleher (WebEx), Alderwoman Killey (WebEx), Alderman Kreinbrink (WebEx), Alderman Littlebrant, Alderman Surratt and Alderman Whitecotton

Others: Deputy City Clerk Teckenbrock, City Attorney Harrill (WebEx), Director of Public Works Engineer Horak (WebEx), Chief Bianchi (WebEx) and EMA Ciciora (WebEx)

Mayor’s Report: Rich Robinson

1. Review & First Reading of Tax Levy Ordinance 2020-17

Alderman Kreinbrink wanted to bring up some concern he has about Levy amount of $843,000 and not paying more to be more in line with recommendation previously talked about. Alderman Kelleher said he was in favor of just paying the $843,000. Alderman Dell good with Levy and would perhaps have more to say when 5 year budget information available. Mayor Robinson reported that Wes Levy did not have 5 year information yet, but was working on it.

Attorney Harrill:: No report

DeputyCity Clerk’s Report: Jim Teckenbrock: Mentioned Pearl Harbor Day today and to

remember all our survivors as their numbers are dwindling.

City Department’s Reports:

EMA Tom Ciciora: No report Chief Jim Bianchi: No report

Director of Public Works Engineer Tom Horak

1. Plan Commission regular meeting of Tuesday, December 8, 2020 has been

   canceled.

2. Little Rock Creek Watershed Study virtual meeting – Wednesday, December 9, 2020

   at 10:00 am that will cover the water quality summary and the watershed-wide

   modeling results.

3. Reported he had received some information from Matt Christensen regard Gletty

   Road Project and would be going over it in the next few days.

Alderman Kelleher asked if information included number of hours and loads. Mr. Horak said not sure what all was in it but did see something about loads, not sure what else was included.

Aldermen Reports

Alderman Pete Dell: Reported insurance pool information should be coming in after meeting coming up on December 8th.

Alderman Kevin Kelleher: No report

Alderwoman Cara Killey: No report

Alderman Fred Kreinbrink: No report :

Alderman Bill Littlebrant: No report 

Alderman Shane Surratt: No report 

Alderman Rick Whitecotton: No report

Announcement: The Finance Committee Meeting will be held after this meeting.

Adjournment: Mayor Robinson asked for motion to adjourn at approximately 7:19pm, motion made by Alderman Surratt. Seconded by Alderman Whitecotton, motion carried 8-0.
