OPENING OF MEETING/MEETING GUIDELINES/ ROLL CALL: Pursuant to OMA Remote Meeting Legislation PA100- 0640(SB2135) signed by Governor Pritzker on June 12, 2020, all votes must be roll call during a remote meeting- from the opening of meeting up to and including adjournment. An officer must be present during the meeting at the regular meeting room, Marc Cinnamon is present in the regular meeting room. This meeting is being recorded. Roll Call Vote: Marc Cinnamon-aye, Jamie Deutsch-aye, Josh Clark-absent, Richard Lockowitz-absent, Frank Ottengheime-aye, David Simpson-aye. 4 present-2 Absent. Motion carried.

CITIZENS ADDRESSING THE BOARD: None

NEW BUSINESS: IDOT/US ROUTE 30 RESURFACING OF PARKING LANES AND ADA ACCESSIBLE SIDEWALK CURB RAMPS: Engineer, Norm Beeh, recommends that village has IDOT do the ADA accessible sidewalk curb ramps and request that new ramps have a side flare which will eliminate snow plow hazard. Should also request to retain all crosswalks at Shabbona Road and ask IDOT to provide a pedestrian crossing at Mohawk Street as there a lot of pedestrian activity at that corner due to businesses and there should be a marked pedestrian crossing. Don Goncher asked about accessible ramp for sidewalk at west corner of Mohawk. Property owner at corner of Pontiac Street has bricks/pavers and they will be responsible for tying those back into the new ADA accessible sidewalk curb. Don Goncher asked about accessible ramp for sidewalk at west corner of Mohawk. Norm also recommends resurfacing parking lanes as part of US Route 30, 1.75” surface lift. Marc Cinnamon motioned to sign agreement with IDOT to do parking lanes at 1.75” surface lift and all sidewalk ramps as listed in agreement, David Simpson seconded. Marc Cinnamon asked about meeting with IDOT prior to the work being done, the Village will check the request to meet with IDOT box on the agreement. Roll Call Vote: Marc Cinnamon-aye, Jamie Deutsch-aye, Josh Clark-absent, Richard Lockowitz-absent, David Simpson-aye, Frank Ottengheime-aye. 4-0-2 absent Motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT: David Simpson motioned for adjournment at 7:15PM, Marc Cinnamon seconded. Roll Call Vote: Marc Cinnamon-aye, Jamie Deutsch-aye, Josh Clark-absent, Richard Lockowitz-absent, David Simpson-aye, Frank Ottengheime-aye. 4-0-2 absent Motion carried.
