Shabbona home prices rose in the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Shabbona rose by $82,800 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $226,750 - a 57.5% increase over the $143,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Shabbona in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Shabbona for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,022, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
