DeKalb County Board of Review met Sept. 8.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
This Public Meeting was held in person.
Those in attendance: Dan Cribben, John Linderoth, and Brian Rosenow Members; Bridget Nodurft, CCAO; and Alana Rautio, Assessment Office Administration Clerk.
I. Call to order: Meeting called to order at 9:00 am .
II. Roll call: Roll call taken by Dan to reflect all present.
Ill. Review Agenda for Approval / Amendment: John moved to approve as submitted . Brian second motion. All in favor, motion passed .
IV. Approval of minutes from last meeting: John moved to approve August 11, 2021 minutes. Brian seconds motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
V. Work Load:
a. Review to Approve / Deny Disabled Person Exemptions: After review from Board, John moved to approve a total of 13 to include O New HEPD applications and 13 HEPD renewal applications. Brian seconds motion. All in favor, motion passed. See attached list.
b. Review to Approve / Deny Disabled Veteran Exemptions: After review from Board, John moved to approve 4 New SHEDV applications and 11 renewal SHEDV applications. Brian seconds motion. All in favor, motion passed. See attached list.
c. Review to Approve / Deny Senior Exemptions: After review from Board, John moved to approve 15 New Senior applications. With 1 being handwritten in by Brian Roesenow. Brian seconds motion. All in favor, motion passed. See attached list.
d. Review to Approve/ Deny Certificate of Errors: Brian moved to approve CofE's numbered 646-665, dated 08/11/2021, with 1 VOID. John seconds motion. All in favor, motion passed.
e. Review for Recommendation to IDOR for Non-Homestead Exemptions: After review from the Board, John moved to approve 4 PTAX-300 HA applications, made a recommendation to deny 1 Non-Homestead application to IDOR and table 1 Non-Homestead application for more information. Brian second motion. All in favor, motion passed. See attached list.
VI. Other Business:
a. Dan would like money set aside in the budget for outside appraisals when needed.
VII. Adjournment: John moved to adjourn; Brian seconds motion. All in favor, so moved. Meeting adjourned at 10:32 am.
