Attention Barbs: The DeKalb HS Spring Musical Auditions for 'Mama Mia' will be held next week in the Choir Room, F109. Make sure to sign up on the Choir board in the music area. To audition, prepare 30-60 seconds of a song of your choice.

Attention Barbs: All boys interested in playing tennis this spring, please register online or see Coach Bjelk or Coach Bantz for more information. Season starts February 28th.
Attention Barbs: Interested in playing badminton this Spring? Come to open gym on Wednesday, February 16th, from 7-9pm in the DHS Fieldhouse.
Attention Barbs! Please support the DHS Marching Barbs by eating at Pizza Pro's on Wednesday, February 16th. Pizza Pro's will donate 10% of the food orders to the Marching Barbs when you present a printed copy of the flier with dine-in or carry-out orders. The fundraiser runs all day (11 am - 10 pm). Thank you for supporting the DHS Marching Barbs!
Attention Barbs: Do you love to read or have an interest in reading? Why not join the newly created Book Club! The first meeting will be on Wednesday, February 23rd from 3-4pm. All are welcome!
Attention Barbs: Starting next week, Chess Club will meet on Thursdays after school. Come to Room W215 from 3-4 on Thursday if you like to play or want to learn how to play chess.
Attention Barbs: Interested in joining the DHS Dance Team? Click here to register and for information regarding optional tryout open studios and required choreography clinics prior to April 23 tryouts. Remember, registration must be complete and current physical (less than 13 months old) must be on file prior to tryouts.
If you are interested in participating in a SPRING sport this year, it is time to register and make sure your sports physical is current! ALL sports registrations must be completed prior to the first day. Please visit the DHS Athletics website, 1barb.com, scroll down and click on the "Spring Sports Registration Open Now" link for all of the details, including coach contact information! Boys and Girls track and field will begin Tues., 1/18/22. Girls Badminton, Boys Baseball, Girls Softball, Girls Soccer, Boys Tennis will begin Mon., 2/28/22. DHS Parking Tag Request Form - Please complete this form to request a parking tag and either pay online through Skyward, or bring cash or check (made payable to Dist #428) to the DHS main office. You must have a parking tag displayed in your vehicle at all times or risk being ticketed and or towed.
