Attention Barbs:  Come on out to the District 428 Music Faculty Showcase today, Friday, February 25th at 7:00p at the DHS Auditorium.  Some of your favorite music teachers will be performing a variety of repertoire.  Current district 428 K-12 students will be entered into a drawing for gift cards and admission is FREE.  

Attention Barbs:  Baseball tryouts are on Monday, February 28, 2022.  Please remember to sign up on 8to18 and have your physical in.  If you have any questions, please contact Coach Morton or Coach Severino.

Attention Barbs:  All boys interested in playing tennis this spring, please register online or see Coach Bjelk or Coach Bantz for more information.  Season starts February 28th.  

Attention Barbs:  Interested in playing badminton this Spring? Make sure to register this week!  Practice starts Monday, February 28th.

Attention Barbs:  Chess Club will meet after school on Monday, February 28th in Room W215.

Attention Barbs:  GSA meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 3-4p in Room N204.  The next meeting will be on March 1st. 

Attention Barbs:  Do you know more than one language? Would you like to earn up to 12 free college credits?  Sign up to take the Seal of Biliteracy test! Juniors and seniors can learn more information or sign up to take the test using the QR codes on the flyers posted throughout the school or you can also find a link on the DHS website.  Testing begins March 14th so be sure to sign up soon!

Attention Barbs:  Interested in joining the DHS Dance Team? Click here to register and for information regarding optional tryout open studios and required choreography clinics prior to April 23 tryouts. Remember, registration must be complete and current physical (less than 13 months old) must be on file prior to tryouts.

If you are interested in participating in a SPRING sport this year,  it is time to register and make sure your sports physical is current! ALL sports registrations must be completed prior to the first day. Please visit the DHS Athletics website, 1barb.com, scroll down and click on the "Spring Sports Registration Open Now" link for all of the details, including coach contact information! Boys and Girls track and field will begin Tues., 1/18/22. Girls Badminton, Boys Baseball, Girls Softball, Girls Soccer, Boys Tennis will begin Mon., 2/28/22.
