Barb Food Mart Information

SPRING BREAK, March 21st-March 25th, NO SCHOOL

Attention Seniors & Juniors!!  DHS Prom 2022 is quickly approaching. Prom will be Saturday, May 7th at NIU’s Duke Ellington Ballroom from 6:30p to 11:00p. Seniors and juniors may purchase tickets for $50 each from Monday, April 4th to Tuesday, April 19th in W111 before school or E109 after school. Sophomores may only attend with a junior or senior. Freshmen will not be admitted. Purchase your ticket by April 9th to be entered into a drawing for one of ten free prom tickets (your money will be reimbursed to you if you win).

Attention Barbs!  Stop on out to support the middle school by attending their spring musical, “Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr”.  Performances will be held at Huntley Middle School Auditorium.  March 11-12 @ 7pm & March 13 @ 2pm.  Tickets are $4 for Students & $8 for Adults.  Tickets may be preordered at the middle school offices or purchased at the door. 

Attention Barbs:  Student Council is pleased to announce Spirit Week, March 14-18.

Monday, March 14	PAJAMA DAY- wear your favorite pj’s
Tuesday, March 15	JERSEY DAY-wear your favorite team’s jersey or Barb team shirt
Wednesday, March 16	JUMP INTO SPRING-wear your best spring outfit(floral,Hawaiian,etc)
Thursday, March 17	GREEN DAY-wear your best green outfit or shirt in celebration of St.Patrick’s Day
Friday, March 18	BARB PRIDE DAY-wear your best orange and black

Attention Barbs:  This is the last chance to sign up for Seal of Biliteracy testing.  Please sign up using one of the QR codes posted around the school or from the Seal of Biliteracy link on the DHS webpage.  If you have already registered, please check your email to sign up for a testing time next week.

Attention Barbs:  DeKalb Barb Boosters is hosting a Trivia Night Fundraiser on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Fatty’s Pub & Grill from 6:30p-10p.  Attached is the flyer that provides more detail.
