Koolidge for Congress has issued the following press release:

DeKalb—Republican congressional candidate for IL-14 Mike Koolidge today announced he’s received the endorsement of Jeanne Ives, former state representative and candidate for Congress and governor, as well as prominent leader for conservatives across the state as Founder and CEO of Breakthrough Ideas.

Ives headlined the Koolidge campaign’s office opening in DeKalb yesterday where supporters gathered in support and where grassroots operations will be based.

“In the same way I have been actively fighting to shine a light on the political lies that distract from real issues that impact us every day, Mike has been using his voice to call Illinoisans to the table to have conversations about freedom from big government long before he decided to run for office. Washington needs bold leaders who will put the safety and prosperity of Americans before their own political agenda. Mike is nothing if not a bold leader, and I have every confidence he can take on Lauren Underwood and flip this seat,” said Ives.

“I am grateful for Jeanne’s support and friendship in this race,” said Koolidge. “With Jeanne’s endorsement, our office opening, our fundraising momentum and our growing grassroots army, my campaign is gaining tremendous ground every day. Full speed ahead!”
